The type of problems that my patients present with genuinely affect them in very personal ways; I find myself having to be tremendously creative to solve the problem and also able to coordinate with a myriad of medical fields to achieve the desirable outcome for my patient.

As a Queensland-trained surgeon and proud Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, Dr Peters brings a wealth of expertise to every patient interaction.
Since obtaining his Fellowship, Dr Peters has worked in both public and private hospitals. He was made Director of the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in 2014, a position that he held for a decade.
Whilst serving in this public health position, Dr Peters also established Valley Plastic Surgery, a private clinic in the heart of Brisbane. The clinic has become home to best-in-class surgical specialists.
